it is looking great so far your idea on the fiber dust sounds good just too involved for me. I have an idea for your knee problem. Why don't you attach the the two with a T-strap hinge so it moves for you and then attach the knee to you with a strap so it does not flap all over the place. just an idea

ok dude im excited i get my mkar 6 helm from brandon mcclain tomorrow and now my chest is resined and im going to glass it soon and with rondo and now im going to resin and glass my thigh tho the resin made the hot glue fall apart its not bad of a fix but it will do and the cod and shin i got im going to redo with something before i resin them but ill have new vids soon
