my sculpting progress

unfortunately on my last one i had a misfortunate accident with my brother and a hammer on one half so i decided to cut the other half... well in half, along one of the "seams" and use it to sculpt the other side from scratch, heres pics

the raised bits are so when i put it on my vacuum form table it wont get stuck in the plastic and ill only end up with one bucket and actually i dont remember coloring the edges with a pencil but for some reason it seams to be there....:huh:it needs some smoothing, but i dont know how i would go about getting it any smoother? unless i use some sort of super fine grain sand paper or something.

thank you, but id still like to try and smooth it out some, and there was a hole im my clay bag somehow and now i have to try and re-wet the clay so that i can finish the front part =/
