been a member for a while now, though i would finally get a build thread going, been working on this on and for for over a year with some long hiatuses. the vision behind the build. I was a big fan of ctf on hemorrhage, and have envisioned for a blue team flag carrier, hence why i have been putting so much battle damage into it. being my first pep build i have been learning alot with every peice as you will see the original paint up on the helmet before i decided on a new colour and less damage. so here's a few pics of my progress so far.

That looks great! Great job on the battle damage and the patterns/decals looks very clean. I also agree with Stryder on the carbon thighs, nice touch :)

Keep up the good work!
Out of curiosity - is the battle damage meticulously placed, or did you just go all out and hoped for the best? You certainly nailed the detailing on that front.

I have to say I LOVE your battle damaged armor. :D
It looks really legit and I think the damage suits all Spartans. I like how clean the markings look... Really great job! :D

Thanks for the words of support, i have had some major ups and downs while working on this taking long breaks after i lost patience either when i stuffed up the paint and had to respray or scaling issuse.

with the battle damage i would just use too much bog and let nature take it's course, then i would pick out the bits of damage i wanted to keep and sand smooth the rest. i don't think it could have gone any better

Totally loving the mash up of armor! Halo REACH, Halo3, and 4!
i was a big fan of halo reach's customisation, so i though why be bound by rules and sets, so i only made the pieces i thought looked the coolest. still more to come the chest will be my own mash up of halo 5 bits and i plan on scaling down an odst back pack and using it for a thigh pouch.

the marking were through long meticulous work with a knife and masking tape. took me a few failures to work out the best way of going about it

that thigh piece is my most proud achievement "so far" took me while to come up with the carbon idea i wanted to do something different but wasn't sure quite what.

more great things on the way, i'm currently working on the forearms and have a functional tactical wrist computer in the works

WOW! I love the noble team touch on the shin and I seriously can't wait to see the finished set. Good luck!

taken a lot of patience to wrap my head around this, but the tactical wrist computer is now in development

Nice Raspberry Pi tac-pad, dude. two questions, you running a custom program so you can actually have a customized UNSC themed interface? Or are you sticking to displaying images. And which Pi are you running, B+, 2 B+, or 3 B+?

it's a 2 b+ i am planning on running a custom user interface program so it can swap between screens of bio stats, intel etc. but it looks like it might be a little while before it's completed at this point, as i am just starting to learn about the pi and coding

second thigh painted up. just have to finish the weathering and carbon fibre

to celebrate the completion of the second thigh i decided to have a test suit up. still need to do a bit more strapping, and the sum of the pieces are starting to weigh a bit but i'm happy with the progress so far

been a while since my last update. haven't spent much time on this lately. i've got 2 builds going at the same time so i do some work on one and then on the other and breaks in between. i have finished pepping one fore arm, i scaled it slightly bigger to fit the existing hard plastic fore arms that are already on my under suit. though now it looks like i have scaled it too big and it looks out of proportion to the rest of the armor. i have started pepping the second one slightly smaller but due to it being a different file it looks quite smaller than the first. i'll finish pepping the second and work out where to go from there once i have both mocked up on my suit.

Looks great, I like your ideas of using the imperfections as damage and the carbon look on the thighs. I also like your choice of color...not usually a fan of blue but yours has changed my take on it.... keep up the good work look forward to your next update.
