I started this a few week back and I wanted to show it off.But i wanted to get most of it done before i did so here it is.

Thanks again Tribal for your guyver helmet file I'll be getting on that right away.

What kind of paper did you use? It looks a bit warped and dented in quite a few spots.

I really suggest that you use 110 lb cardstock paper. You WILL be happy you did. Also because regular printer can't really withstand the resin.

Agreed, cardstock would be much easier to use. The best thing you can do is make support stuts out

of cardboard. Then you could just resin it a little bit at a time to prevent warping. That or you

could do it in light coats, it's what I do when I use regular paper. Either way good luck on it!

It upsets me when I see builds like this, as nine times out of ten it will end up in the bin. :(

If it survives the resin and the fibreglassing the filler stage will be a nightmare with all the warping.

All that great, hard work going to waste, due to not using card stock.

Other than that it's looking great!! :) :)

If you are going to invest the amount of time it takes to pep don't you think it's worth the investment to get card stock?. There are alternatives, print out on paper and glue the page onto a cereal box or other packaging.

See all of you are down sizing me because i use printing paper.but ya'll don't understand is i have two

kids have to take care of and i just can't just go out to buy card stock or get mommie and daddy to get it

because i'm married and living on my own with my wife and 2 kids.

AND I DIDN'T HAVE CARD STOCK AT THE TIME I WAS DOING THIS SO GET OFF MY BACK.

I can understand the time and budget constraints. I found walmart is an easy solution. Next time you are there grabbing groceries or whatever, you can investigate. I found 150 sheets of 110 lb cardstock for less than $5, and if you do it right, you can do most of a MKVI with 150 sheets. It looks great for being printer paper. Hope it turns out great for you!

Easy tiger!... You are taking this the wrong way, from me at least.

No one is on your back or trying to down size you, your build is great, but, it could have been amazing

had you used card.

I am your senior by a good many a years, married and have three very demanding teenage children, I specialise

in tight budgets and time constraint!.

I'll be blunt, you wasted your time with this build out of paper, it is destined for the bin, which is such a shame.

You obviously have the skill required to get a good build but doing it the way you have destroys your spirt when you can take it no further.

Please take this as constructive criticism and not a slating. :)
