New Recruit at MAGFest 2026

I spent the last year working on my first cosplay for my first con, an ODST for MAGFest 2026. I taped in the visor and fully suited up for the first time in the hotel the day of. I am happy with how it turned out and excited to keep improving it. I learned a lot making it and interacting with other Halo cosplayers! Folks I met recommended I join here and gave me a 405th sticker Pictures attached.

Thanks, yup! The body armor is Aguilar Workshop and the helmet is Galactic Armory.

So glad to hear that!! I used nylon straps and buckles with my chest rig to make a harness and belt, which most of it attaches to. The forearms are a snug fit and the greaves have an internal strap to keep them snug too, everything else attaches to the harness or belt. The STLs helped with that but I also did whatever I could to really secure each piece. I heard somewhere that if you can't make it perfect, make it adjustable!

Don't get many Halo cosplayers at cons I usually go to, so I don't know if I know anyone else or not.
