Hello everyone,

It has been quite awhile since I’ve posted something but I’ve started a project this last month which involved a lot of 3D printing and sewing. I wanted to showcase my process. I used a lot of my buddy tahu505 tips from previous projects to complete this one but honestly a lot of the printing itself was the help from another friend since my printer is currently non operational but with that said I did sand/paint/sew everything you will see.

This first post is going to highlight the first steps which was the printing and scaling. I will also be showcasing my poor attempts at scaling because armor smith is hard. Not every scaled or pre painted piece will be on here as I was not taking enough pictures.

Sewing was quite easy to learn and figure out but then again I have only scratched the surface. The hardest part for me was following the patterns because for some reason the patterns felt like geometry and my brain hates math. But learning this was fun and it helped add another skill to my arsenal in costume making. I really like how the tunic turned out! I also made obi wan kenobis cape to go with it. I’ll show that off later.

I do not have a ton of pictures to showcase my sanding because honestly I forgot but man do I hate sanding and as you can see my work bench is a mess, has no rhyme or reason, and is probably another reason I was hating it. However, getting through this and learning from my mistakes is making me excited to start my halo armor again.
