I started on a full-body set of ODST armor in early october of last year. This is a little progress report on the helmet I made for it. For a quick refresh, the helmet is made of a lacrosse helmet with some layered foam over it. The visor is made of cut out plastic sheet I got off Amazon. It's a very amateur job, but it is one of my first helmets.

For the updates, I put on several layers of gloss varnish to get a more metallic look on the EVA foam. I also re-cut and reshaped the visor to make the angular detail a little more accurate. Turns out, cutting is NOT it. The glue created a big mess behind the visor and the seams are clearly visible. Not my best idea, but I guess it'll be fine for until I have a vacuum forming setup.

I think my next steps are going to be:
- Getting tint film for the visor
- Resin printing some parts
- Refining foam shapes that stick out from me adding material
- Vinyl printing rather than freehanding details
