Well its been a while since i was working on my helmet, but im back now! I have ordered a visor by link, so i thought i would be nice to finally see this one finished.

So yesterday i had some work done on the helmet. Im re-doing the dome to make it more symmetrical, and im almost done with it.I had to refill the jaw because the pep model had a fault in it, im making the a bit lower, so that in the final model the jaw bit will stand out. Im also re sanding everything because as soon as i get my visors in, i will make sure they fit perfecly, and then finnaly after more then a year be molded...that reminds i need to buy new molding supply's ;)

These are the people that inspire me to work on my armor. Great job man, I love the detail you put into the helmet. In my opinion, I think that is one of the hardest helmets to make.

really nice detail man, i have a question: what kind of filler are u using? im using bondo for some of my chest pieces and its a bit hard to work with. also the color is pinkish and yours is grey.

Thanks for the kind words,

@Aware

Well i dont know where you live, but the stuff i use if from Albestine. How do you mean hard, as in : this bondo is hard to sand down, or its hard to keep the bondo in shape. I dont know why mine bondo is grey, may your harder is pink, and your bondo white?

Its difficult to work with on small spaces like the helm, when sanding (even with a dremel) sometimes u cant reach some places.

And my bondo is gray and hardener red so when u mix them it ends up pink.

the curvature of the left side of the helmet needs some work.

What piece do you exactly mean? Because the curvature on the dome is the same. I do need to work on the left side of the lower dome.

Aware:

Well try some try folding you sandpaper, or get some new tools for your Dremel. They make really small sanding instruments.
