I've tried all day to download the assault rifle pepakura files. It down loads to my computer, but I can't open it to view it nor can I open it up in the pep program. Kinda getting frustrating. I'm at a loss. I wouldn't post if I hadn't exhausted every possible thing I can think of to fix it. Thanks for the help.

Well, first, do you have a Mac? That might explain it.

Okay, so this may sound stupid, but some people (sadly) don't know it. Here goes.

1) Right-click .pdo file
2) Go to "Open With..."
3) Select "More" or "Options."
4) Browse for Pepakura Viewer or Pepakura Designer.

and when I right click on it, it says it is a HTML file and not a .pdo
The "Open with..." is not an option.
The file is saved to my computer, but it is telling me that it is not a compatible file with pep.

The "Open with..." option is always there... No matter the file type... Is it just the AR or does it happen with other Pep files too?

Then that means that you downloaded the page that has the file, not the file itself. Just go back and download the actual file again. Just to be sure, right-button click it and on "Properties", be sure it's a pdo file.

Which file are you trying to download? And where is it? Check the pep database first. I've downloaded several of them without a problem.

File>open in pepakura. It should work.

If you have a mac, then you dont even have pepakura.

it may not actually be a pdo. what site did you download from?
