I think that the tiger stripe paint would look awesome, and if it turns out it doesn't you just have to paint black over it. the marine helm just looks of because the corners arn't as shap as normal when you get a cast of it you can just detail the corners.

Have been watching this thing since I found this site an you've always been helpful/a source of inspiration, would love the help now!

Ok i would say we used like around 4 to 5 cans of fiberglass... but! we did replace a few parts of the ODST Armor at first(which were already resined) if i do remember. Well I would stock up on the resin cans, but hey its up to you.



ARMOR RELATED NEWS!

1. SOooooooooooooo, I got mad at trying to scratch build the Marine RadioPack, so what I'm going to do is make it somewhat similar to it, but more of a older model of the current one seen in HALO 3



2. Was thinking of puttin bondo all over the radio pack but I wouldn't really know if thats a good idea because that would add weight and stuff, but i think the magnets would hold up



3. The back part of the "MASTER MARINE" Torso should be done today... so I'm expecting it to be ready to sand today by ME!!!



4. Oh yeah I'm changing title so be sure to look at it

Thats about it and should get some pics of the Marine Radio Pack tomorrow if I'm not lazy

OK UPDATE!

1.WORKED on the Marine Radio Pack!!! TODAY!! HOPEFully you like it

I'm going to put a BIG THICK PVC on the right side of the RADIO PAcK so we can put all the posters from comic con in that... MORE comic con friendly somewhat.

2. Kinda worked on the ODST helmet today as well...

thats kinda what i did today... nothing much just that... hopefully next time,... i have a phone reciever for the left side of the radio pack and also bondoed the radio pack as well...

Well originally my plan, Purrie, was to build 5 ODST suits, but over time i disliked being a Special Forces Soldier (ODST), then i looked towards Sgt.Johnson. Now he was just a Regular Marine who was badass... Well not exactly regular (given the program he went through), but still badass. I also thought of the Halo Movie or Series we were going to make... and i said "to hell with it, I wanna be a marine and i want a Marine Squad)... So now i have 2 ODST suits, with 4 marine suits being finished and molded. This was the plan i made a few months ago, I just never got around to changing the title. Anyways if that guy (Artek I do believe) can bust this in 2 weeks? then I can do this in 5 weeks for sure... I just need some good ol' fashion determination, bit of luck i guess, and my men who is helping me Thank god i have them

Very appropriate! Lol, quite epic indeed!!! And Ryan, radio pack looks pretty ballin-sauce, and that helmet is starting to look like the frickin beez-knees, keep it up dude! This has inspired me to finally bondo and sand up my ODST this weekend, and get it done! Hopefully...... well see how things go. Ah I see now, well that's quite awesome man! And I still cant believe how smooth you're able to get that ODST helmet so fast... It's taking me forever to get mine even close to that
