paint recommendations for halo armor and helmet

Looking for what type of paint i should use for my armor once it is finished any recommendations? eva foam build

Primer and if you are going for Master Chief paint, Italian Olive.

foam can be tricky because it well, looks like foam. you could try plasti-dip, bought at home depot. its a pretty nice rubberized coating you can spray on, and comes in several colors. can be sanded and painted too.

I always coat the foam in plastidip first. Especially if you're doing any color that is semi-gloss to full gloss, otherwise it'll turn out matte when the foam absorbs it.

or what you can do that is a little cheaper is you can get a heat gun and go over the piece you are doing until its shiny and then you just have to do primer and then about 3 coats of paint. and that seals it hope that helped.

i used plasti dip, with krylon spray and it turned out pretty good, i used a matt finish with a clear satin finish.

Thanks for the reply's definatly going to be using plastidip colors will prob be lighter green of master chiefs still haven't decided the colors yet

I have been reading alot of threads and they are making foam suits and they all are using plastidip just an FYI only thing about that is not many colors to chose from.

use plasti dip for sealant then spray over it with another paint
