Plasma Rifle Paintball Concept

I am posting this to see if anyone has tried to make a plasma rifle paintball gun. I think it would be a cool idea to try. You could even make neon/fluorescent/glowing paintballs to shoot out of it. This is just an idea for the more "qualified" and "experienced" prop makers. If you have already tried this idea, please post your results and observations. Thank you.

Looked at paintball guns today and had an idea for the gun. I noticed you needed a place for the paintballs and for the pressurized air tank. If you build the plasma rife, you could put the paintballs in the top, bulbous, chamber thingie (don't know the correct term for it) and you could put the air tank in the bottom chamber. Hope someone can try this out.

Why not try to make the plasma rifle marker yourself? You seem to have a pretty clear concept in your head, and it does sound pretty cool. Just a thought.

Well I am only a sophomore in High School and do not have much knowledge on the engeneering aspect of it yet. However I am planning on being a weapons engineer for the US when I grow up, but I am not fully knowledgable of the field. That is why I posted this thread, so that someone more experienced in this field could build it. Or for someone who has already built it to show it to people. Hoping to get some replies and posts.

Hey man, I'm only a sophomore and I've made some pretty cool stuff! Our motto here is "If we can build it, so can you!" if you have the idea and tools at your disposal (tech class) go for it!

I'm a sophomore as well, and a lot of us here are self taught. As you are an aspiring engineer, it would be great for you to start with a project like this.

I've actually been thinking about this too, let me know what progress you make on it, in theory all you would need is the gearbox and trigger system from a marker or airsoft gun and mount it inside your pep gun shell, and tweak to fit. if you get it workin please mail me a storm rifle lol
