I just wanted to ask quickly.

I picked up some polyester casting resin pretty cheap the other day. I know polyurethane is the more common choice, but I've never actually seen anything posted about polyester resin.

Would it be suitable to tip inside a pepakura bucket? I was just wondering if anybody had a little experience with it.

I know it shrinks slightly when it's cured, but then again most resins do right?

I'll do some testing before I use it on my piece. Just wanted to see if anybody else has used it before, and could give me tips an advice.

Many thanks.

Polyester is what we use for laying-up fiberglass, so I wouldn't see many problems. It might be a little brittle, but it should work.
