i start to doing the forearm mark VI ok when i did those and i noticed i have little gaps between the pieces so I tried hot glue in those gaps and wait for them to dry then used solder with hot knife to smooth it out. at first I thought it would work. then I put test paint on it and see that I still have gaps :( anyone have any idea or tips? thanks.

I filled the gaps on the seams of the foam pieces with hot glue, like you said. I just put in enough to just rise above the seam I was trying to cover then let that harden. Then just use the tip of the glue gun to melt it so that it's level. After its melted and still hot I took an extra piece of foam and wiped the hot glue to remove the excess.

when you use the weather chaulking then how can you clean it off where its not suppose to be on?
