Progress on Aeon's armor

Just being critical
If you look at the back on the bottom rim part that holds the back of your head or whatever one side is bent inward at an angle that dosnt look all that weird while the other is correct.
I did the same thing on my pep helm and didn't notice until i primed it in the final stages when i couldn't really do anything about it.
I ended up being pretty pissed off and didnt want the same thing to happen to you.

I think instead of wasting resin, you should just build the high res. If you decide to resin this one, i'd only resin it once, just for test, unless you've had experience using resin before. Anyway, good luck.

Hahah nice one Rogue. He's right though. But anyway, it looks great. You don't have to rush it, mabey try some HD handplates before you tackle the helmet. Thats just my take on it, I've never actually made one yet so....

My only fear is you put it together with scotch tape it appears, the FiberGlass Resin (if that is your plan) will eat right through that, and your work will be ruined,
but if you super or hot glued it you should be fine, just the scotch tape doesn't hold up well against resin.

Hence why she mentioned in her first post:

Please be critical, I want my armor to look great!! I did use tape on the outside for extra hold, and hot glue on the inside. I am pretty sure when I resin, it will dissolve the tape, if not, I can fix it when I bondo.

She's only using the scotch tape on the outside to help keep all the Pep pieces flush with one another while she starts to resin/fiberglass, the tabs themselves are actually glued down on the inside.

Don't worry, she knows what she's doing...

Ha ha, sadly no. Work has been crazy the past 2 weeks, we are in crunch mode, but hopefullty I will be able to get back on it again soon!

Hopefully we'll see some more progress on this soon. I can't wait to see how the torso turns out. That would be the next logical part of the armour to work on...

Torso is next, but sadly there has not been much progress, too much going on at work and at home, plus I have been not feeling well. And......I have ultimately decided to use JediFraz's pep files this time around. I know it is old school, but I have 2 months to get this done for a convention, and with my time being the way it is, I won't be able to do high def. After the show in May, I am going to work on High def, since I will be out of crunch mode by then and have more time.
