Hey folks, I'm nearing the end of my HEV MKV Suit (Gordon Freeman's Suit) but I've hit a wall in the creative process. Tutorials about painting once the rest is done seem to be few and far between, and rarely hold the credibility I'd want with such an important step. Mainly- how do I prepare the bondo's pieces for painting once they've been spot puttied? What type of spraypaint should I use? Is rustoleum good? Are the metallic colors too shiney?
Er, I mean- I'm not looking for all those questions to be answered (though that would be fantastic). I'm just looking for a general direction to go in now, cause I've only got a week left to work on it.
All I have in the way of materials at the moment are two cans of clear, high gloss spray lacquer.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. :3
