Added the magnets to the helmets back plate. I add the neodymium magnets using JB Weld steel stick on one part, then I cover the magnets with clear wrap, after I add magnets and steel stick to the other side.

The inner ear piece was difficult to cover in tape, so I hand painted a white base with acrylic paint.

Then I sprayed the red paint into a disposable cup and used a brush to paint it by hand.

Fit test.

Time to start on #5? :-D
There's been some ideas . Might do a MK VII core, but will probably take a break to work on other cosplays in-between. I did also say that about rakshasa then did this back to back with MK V b so we'll see lol

Finished sewing the vest today!

All that's left for the undersuit is to add the tubes and belt. I got silicone tubes to get a look that matches the wires on my gloves. But before adding the tubes, I needed to wash the undersuit. The raw unwashed fabrics were a bit stiff. I set my washer to delicate and this happened.

A lot of the batting from the vest tore and spread everywhere. Luckily none of the details are damaged. I'm letting the flight suit and vest air dry, then I'll clean them with a lint roller.

Not pictured but today I also adjusted the straps on the shoulders and I added parachute clips to the top straps of the chest so they can feed through the vest. While test fitting the chest on the vest, one of the back piece buckles broke. I used JB Weld plastic epoxy to repair it, so it should be good after a full cure.
