Recon Lights?

Hello all,

I am wondering does the recon helm have lights and if so, where? and looking at photos of the helm, does anyone know what the button things on the lower cheek area are? one last question, where would a fan best be placed?

I don't think anyone actually knows if there are lights on the Recon (or any other perm) or where they might be placed if it does have them... it's pretty much up to the builder.

The little details on the chin I use for speakers and I've got a few different places for lights when I get around to that.



As for a fan, I put mine up in the forehead below that little detail piece and it pumped air down to my mouth. There's also the cheek vents that you could fit fans inside of and wherever else you can fit them

Yep, that would be them. If you poke around in my Spartan thread you can see them cut out, there should be some interior views with the fan and such as well.

New question, Referring to post #4. On the gold ear area, the half round area, does it extend outward beyond the larger area, if so, how far does it extend out?

Just in front of the 'ears' is where I put my lights. It worked well but you have to make sure they are sticking out far enough.

Hello All,

Can someone convert the recon helm made by BELAKOR that was "Smoothed by Macattack64" to .OBJ format, so I can make minor changes. Its a great helm, but I would like to add personal touches.

Bamabat, do you have a photo from the side? with the glare I don't see it.



and one last thing, the box(for lack of better term) that sits on the forward top, how far back from the front edge is it.

I am guessing 2.5-3 inches.
