Do we have any reenactors here? I recently got into it with the Museum of the American GI here in Texas, representing the 3rd Army and 14th Armored Division. I just wanted to see what you portray, if at all.

Fellow reenactor here, based in Italy. We portray modern russian MVD Internal Troops, along with VDV (Paratrooper) stuff from around the '90's. I'm currently still building my full MVD kit, and I've reached a point with the VDV one in which I can decide to rock a helmet and flak jacket or keep it light and simple. I'm probably going to just keep the afghanka hat and RD-54 vest. For weapons do you guys use deacts or airsoft? Since I play airsoft too, I just buy airsoft guns that are related to what I do (AKS-74 for VDV trooper, Modernized SVD with psop optic for the MVD operator.)
