That's definately a Rube, and I'd guess it's recast. But the quality is pretty good... The pics are pretty bad though,so I'd assume that's a tip-off to recast. Not sure though.

Post on this before the last site crash. It is from the same guy who ripped Rube off the first time and he has not stopped doing so.

This is his 3rd or 4th ebay cast under different names and he ALWAYS puts bondo on a cast or takes a heat gun and messes it up.

He is the reason why Rube left.

After a great ammount of reserch, I found someone on youtube who had a rube odst. He owns a mold, but he didnt make it. He bought it from a guy who saposedly bought it from rube. He said he has no clue who the mold came from. I suspect this to be a mold that was made by the guy that originaly

made the post on the dented helmet fourms about rubes recasted helmet. I have found that yet ANOTHER recaster has been selling casts on ebay ( auctions removed in late december). It is truley sad how people envy others work so much, that they would mold and sell it as their own. This all staretd because Rube made such nice work and people desired to be like him. Rube if youre reading this, Come back. This fourm wishes you were here. Your work is amazing! Think of the recasters as people who wish they could do as nice as work as you do.

looking at the pictures

i would say that i think there rube's as well

but it also looks like he owns an ithica recon

which i dont think andrew lath (whatever his stupid name is)bought a recon from ithica but i could be wrong

and it might not be ithica's recon anyway

Please dont post links to recast auctions. They don't need the free advertising. Ebay is full of that kind of garbage, best to stay away from it altogether. A better way is to deal with artists directly.
