Yeah ive seen that cosplay before and i know mines probably not going to do well against it. I want to go for a more worn look in it than the perfectness of hers... still wont compare well though she did amazing! This christmas break im going to be working alot so i can save up for some good LEDs. I know, ive been wondering the same about how to connect the shoulders to the chestpiece. Im going to continue to brainstorm about it. I've still got alot of pepping to do... btw heres the first shoulder, i put it by the helmet to show you guys how big it is:

ofcourse it wont be as banged up as this photo, but i do want scuffs and a few cracks in it

If you need Pepakura Files for Samus Aran I have her suit files in my Collection still I think for all the parts but the helmet is the only file I got unfolded the rest still needs work to be able to be worn like 3D edit work but it would be the best for the files to do the suit I don't know where you found that Samus Helmet file at but thats perhaps the worst I have seen no offense intended. Very good shoulder bell however I have to say that.

also look good in a zero suit that ill make after this lmao. next chance i get i should put a pic up of my fingers... their all red bruised from this quick-drying super glue that im using. Crazy cool stuff! ......very painful though... Thanks again for the files!

Oh hell yeah, Id love to be able to go into a morph ball lol. I need some magic for that! I love the dark samus suit... itd be really cool if somebody did do that one. Id like to but i have a feeling that this suit will take me awhile

The files you sent me are amazing quality, Beautiful suit and helmet. only problem is that its a different verion of the suit that im making, however i ADORE that helmet... i might just play around with the two different helmets and see which one in the end looks good. THANKYOU!

Gah I hated the zero suit.You only have a stun pistol and you get killed by alein Pirates.

Wow, havent' seen any pep builds (models yes, but no builds) of any Samus suits. Props to you! Looks like it is going good. I can't wait to see how this will turn out!

Well with my file I'm glad I got you a little bit further from where you were and the helmet I have will need to be scaled down probably I think it was one of my early jobs and I made it too big and I think I took off the hose on the 2d window and set them way off to the left in the development window if you want to add them. On another note tr using the wood/metal/ceramic cement you can get it at Wal-Mart in a black and yellow tube for a buck theres more to it than whats in super glue tubes I've been iusing it for a while and it has worked the best for me no more stickyfingers.
