Well, here ya go ladies and gents. It took awhile (mostly because I procrastinate so much) but I finally finished folding my scout helmet. I keep getting told that it's too big but I think it'll work out in conjunction with the rest of the armor. I might go back and rescale it but I'll probably finish my Mk VI before that.
I figure I'll go with the truck bed liner to harden it up. Fiberglass and the likes is a bit expensive for a starving college student right now.
Any feedback is much appreciated!

Looks great, but is a bit too large.

You may not have to redo it, but it might look tacky in comparison with the suit.

I was thinking that it couldn't be too far off. The visor is eye level with me and with padding inside it'll sit right on my head. I'm almost going to put a rubber sleeve sort of thing around the hole so that it'll meet with my neck right.
I'm thinking that I'm just too thin for my own good.
Most people that have seen it say it looks really long but it looks about the same size as a motorcycle helmet to me.
Besides, the scout helmet seems like it should have a longish appearance to it. Anyhow, when I fold the chest piece then we should know whether or not it's the right size in accordance to the chest.

Really nice job on it. The Scout Helm. is pretty sweet and I think you are doing it justice. Should look sweet when it is all finished up.

I think the size is about right, rmember, its pretty big helmet in-game, also if you're wearing torso armour and shoulders, it will look more proportionate. Well done btw, I think you're the first to fold my new scout box. Also, I've just noticed the front is a bit square....I meant to fix that on the model.. sorry I must have forgotten, never mind, just push the points in before you glass or cut then out and smooth them a bit, should fix it

Thanks NZ. I did my best and the helmet was really fun to fold. I'm really glad that you put up a new model for it because your last one was really difficult. I should start on the chest pretty soon and hopefully that will quell any comments about it being too big.
Thanks to everyone else too. I probably would have started over if not for the helpful comments.
