the only PDO that is on the wiki doesnt have numbers on it D: is there one with or do i actually have to use my brain for this one

They all have numbers, you just have to change one of the options.
It's been awhile, but I think it's under view, and then show edge id #.
IDK, it's something like that, but no you don't need a new pdo.

Is 32.0 a good scale to keep it at?

That depends, is this a size tester you're making?
IDK how big the scout is when you build it, but you shouldn't trust scale number as a good unit of measure for how big it will be.
All helmet models I've seen used a different method for scaling, but all files do support one thing:
under that same menu it shows you how tall it will be in inches (as well as other dimensions).
Besides, IDK how big your head is, so IDK if that's a good scale.
So here's what I would do:
Measure noggin, put that in there (as a tester) and see how good it fits.
Make any necessary adjustments and make a final pep.
IMHO.

You could probably just do an ear to ear measurement and put that in the horizontal dimension (idk how to describe that lol) but yeah that should be fine.
Should be.

Horizontal..?...

Right now its 25.0 and 27.2 ( The scale of the model )

i scaled it up by 10%

one last thing uuuuuuh this is my second helmet My first one came out huge.. and its scale was 31.9 by 27.8

By horizontal I mean if you had a top down pic of the helmet, with the visor facing the top of your screen it would be the part facing the sides.
That's the best I can explain it.
That's height versus width?
That does seem large.
Here, try and measure the heigth of your face.
Add in like, an extra inch for room, and try that.
It should be less than that (31.9... or was it 27.8?) which if it is, it'll prolly be closer to your size.
IDK, I wish some one else would give us their take.
It's good to have more than one opinion on this sort of thing.

ok SO. heres what i did. I measured from ear to ear and i got 14 inchs. and i converted it

14 inches =>
35.6 centimeters
356 millimeters

My whole head

25 inches =>
63.5 centimeters
635 millimeters

Height of my face.

10 inches =>
25.4 centimeters
254 millimeters

so i can go in and id add... 3-4 more inches to those and convert them

EDIT

with the 14 inches the peices of the helmet come out HUGE... and wont fit on the paper.. Sooooooo.. dont know about that
lol..

No, I meant in pepakura.
You're head is 14 ear to ear, how big was the helmet before you changed the scale?
Did you look at the pepakura scaling thread?

how can your head be freaking 14 inches ear to ear?! did u mean the diameter from ear to ear around your head?
i take the tip of the measuring take and pull it to the other side of my ear. so from one tip of my ear on my left side and then the other on the right. and it comes out 14 inches. maybe i do mean the diametere im sorry im not good with this scaling stuff

alright, according to calculator the original width of the helmet was 10 inches.
Didn't you say it was huge?
A height less than ten inches (off the top of my head) sounds pretty small.
IDK, I'm probably messing you up with this post...
umm, you said the first one you made was huge, right?
Do you have any pics (preferably with you wearing it)?
I'm not really getting frustrated, although I'm kind of a noob at this myself, I'm really just repeating what I've heard around the site.
In fact, I made a post in that scaling thread and I think it was belakor made a post that really helped, tho that was a couple months ago and I'm still not done (It's more cause I just stopped than anything. I'm a start back up tonight tho).
I'll see if I can find it and edit my post.
EDIT:
Found it. Basically what I said, but it should be more accurate because he's measuring support flaps.
If the scout helmet has any supports, try changing it so the size of that support matches the size of your head.
Here, just do what it says here:

SECOND EDIT:
Sorry ral, it wasn't belakor that made the post it was ral partha.
LOL silly me, but hey that was awhile back so...
yeah.
