Second Suit - Mk VII Artaius

While I love my first suit, a teal Mk V with Gungnir, I think I'm ready to start my next one. This time I'm going for a coral and white Mk VII with Artaius helm. Despite how uncomfortable my first suit was, I will also be doing this suit entirely 3d printed (its just too much fun and looks too good). I am using the Galactic Armory Artaius model and the Titlewave Mk VII models, combined with some game rips for the shoulders.

So far I've almost finished printing out the helmet. The orange I have planned still kinda goes with the color scheme of my Mk V armor so I anticipate finishing the helm before Dreamhack/Fan Expo Dallas and switching out my Gungnir for those events. I love my Gungnir but with only the camera hole to see out of its just too much of a hassle to use.

Printing and painting done! Now i just need to make the visor!

After a week trying to build a vacuform machine, I finally have a visor! Its not perfect, but its good enough to use if i don’t get time for more attempts.

Additionally, i’m about 60% done printing my Mk VII armor. If my printers cooperate, I have a slim chance of going to Dreamhack with a whole new suit!

I really liked how the Artaius helmet's tiedowns and the capsule shaped indents from the UA-CMA SN5 Type 11 shoulder were both present on the UA Type PTL Kneepads, so I decided to add it to my suit. I couldn't find anyone who had a model of it available, so I decided to model it myself. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
