Hey, with this sort of work, there's always some trial and error involved. More for some than others. And yeah... the detailing definately takes more time than building up the basic pieces. Believe me, I know, lol.

I'm glad to see more ladies join the ranks of the 405th, too. Diversity is always a good thing, heh. I don't doubt those of you here will indeed keep all of us guys in line.

I mean, seeing a woman in a finely-crafted suit of MJOLNIR armour can be quite an imposing sight. I know I wouldn't want to suffer an AR beating at the hands of one of our female SPARTANs...

Actually, I think it would be kewl if you used that matte black colour scheme for both your MJOLNIR and ODST armour. You'd have a "Black Ops" set to work with, then... heh

I'd hate to have to pistol whip someone... already had some dumb kid on XBL go on about how I was like Tex... If I get into molding armor at one point I'll try it, but for now I'm gonna let the ODST get my matte black paint glory

Yeah, you've got a good point there. That probably would be the first thing any guy would think if they saw a black-coloured SPARTAN, lol.

Although, I have to admit, I'd rather enjoy seeing one of the female members here "pistol whip" some schmuck dumb enough to say something about female SPARTANs. Talk about total ownage, and totally embarrassing... lmao

I doubt if it would matter what colour armour you'd be wearing, or if you were wearing armour at all. You'd probably still be getting a beat-down with the pistol for that "Tex" comment... *snicker snicker*

BOLD # 2: I'm not quite sure what her intentions are for her resining/fiberglassing process, but I'm confident we'll be seeing resined/fiberglassed pieces in no time, given the work she's done with this so far... heh
