I started printing this end of Nov i think. The file is from maelstrom designs on etsy, its designed to have a pvc pipe core, which is exactly what i wanted for a prop this long.
I used pla+ and printed it with 4 walls and 10% infill so its pretty lightweight despite its size.
A few of the pieces were modified by CasuallyFlacid (thanks my guy ) cuz he was building one at the same time.

I sand the raw print with 120g, 150g and 220g,
fill divots and deep print lines with bondo or spot putty,
220g again, prime it with filler primer,
320g, prime with regular sandable primer
400g then paint.

Anyway, heres some work in progress:

I painted it with duplicolor black primer and a few differant automotive colors.
The stencils i cut on my cricut and used model paint and drybrushed the edges with pewter rub n buff.

Ive still got to clear coat it and build the bi-pod but thought id share since im pretty proud of it so far.
