Starting my ODST build

So do the valleys need more filling in them, or do I grind the hills until they are down to the valley? The chewed up brim was my crappy cutting, but I left the extra lip on it for dying and painting the visors.
I’m not sure why I’m having such a hard time understanding this, but it will be a great what not to do for someone in the future lol :)

Yes.

A combination thereof. Try not to sand through the walls. Try not to stay stationary when you sand creating flat spots by getting so focused on 'level' that you loose sight of needing the entire buck to maintain a uniform smooth curve for the least amount of distortion in the pull.
And some. Sand some. Repeat where and as much as needed.

I'm reviewing the color scheme and noticing a significant limitation to what can be customized. The chest plate is a single color, and the only other accents are the helmet, mid-bicep armor, and the V on the backpack. I used to remember more customization, but I'm worried I'm mistaken. Any advice would be helpful.

Is there a way to get the clearer one clearer? Do I have to hit it with more sanding love? Did I use too much pigment in my resin?

Vacuum buck primed and should any thing sanded tomorrow. Purple visor had 2nd round of sanding and polish. Should I do a 3rd round of sanding on the purple visor?

Are you planning on getting the suit deployed at a higher tier? If you are you will want to make sure you are accurately colouring your armour. If you're not bothering with that though, as deployment is completely voluntary and doesn't grant you any special membership, you can just colour the armour as you like, even if it's not cannon. I'd say customize the colour as you like, don't worry so much about it being completely accurate to the game if you don't like how it looks in the game.

Is the purple visor vacuum formed or resin? You don't want to sand a vacuum formed visor. I don't work with resin visors so I can't comment on that if it's resin.

The purple visor is a resin visor. I'm planning on finishing the buck tomorrow and see if I need to do another layer of primer. I'm trying both types of visors to see which one I like better. This has been an amazing learning process.
