Since you are new, I suggest that you do all the readings first before shooting off your questions. For one thing, please use proper grammar and punctuations. 1 paragraph with 20 questions will not help anyone. I suggest that you start with the stickies. You should start here.

If you have any questions, you should use one of the stickies in the noob forum to ask. What you ask here could be written in a book. I don't think anyone of us can give you all the right answers in one response.

Again, I cannot stress enough that you use proper language like you would write for your school essays.

Vague but.... I suggest reading the stickies, also make sure you have proper safety gear
If you are using pepakura it should go alittle like this-

Find .pdo (Pepakura files)
open in Pepakura Designer 3
Scale to your size
print
cut
fold
resin outside (doesnt hurt to resin inside, some ppl find that this isnt neccesary)
BONDO the tiny cracks and crevises that you cant get with fiberglass
put fiberglass (cloth or mat, cloth is easier to work with) on inside with resin
let harden
sand and detail
preimer and paint
and if you want LEDs add those

sorry for the grammar but some buttons on my keyboard dont work well, am very sorry and yes ive read alot but am youst asking. i already cut my master chief helmet and hope its fits :S cause its my second one. that scaling thing its annoying. but thank u ayways for helping and posting the link and again very sorry for the grammar.

yeah i know how it all goes but youst to make sure i am asking and yes ive read alot of stickies. what am having trouble is the scaling wich i already read halogoddess tutorial and it didnt help and am looking for the detail stickie section wich i cant find thats the only trouble am having with my armor cause i did everything and the helmet didnt turn out my size so i youst printed another one a bit bigger to see. my head is 26 cm = 260 mm and it didnt fit so the one i printed is 270mm hope am right this time.. thanks anyways! and sorry for the grammar my keyboard is not working properly!

Might want to watch the double posting too... Edit a previous post to include more things in it instead of posting again right after...

If your head is 26 cm width, you should increase it at least by 4 cm to allow space for resin/fiberglass and padding. At the very least, you should make a helmet that is 30 cm in size. Your head will not be able to fit in the helmet because most helmets have trims on the bottom to hold the shape. It is common to cut/trim the edges off to allow the head to go through.

^This.

think about it, you dont want your side of your head to meet the side of the helmet. That would mean that the helmet would be way to thin.

mm ok.. i measured it by height well in the pepakura you put in the height or width it doesnt matter and it automatically puts numbers on the 3 slots so i always go for height . i measured my chine trough the very top of my head but oh well youst wasted paper again then... cause the one i printed and cut it is 27cm =270mm .... so that means it wont fit again so basically i have to print again with a size 30cm= 300mm.. this thing is starting to annoy me..

It may be too late for me to say this but I will say it anyway. TAKE YOUR TIME! This cannot be rushed. You have to be good and slow or else you may make a mistake and restart all over again. Heed the advice of those on the site, they know what they are talking about. Reference material helps a lot too. There are a few tutorials on scaling here on the forum. If you can, watch a few vids on youtube. They help a lot too. Since a lot of people have done the master chief helmet, it does not hurt to ask them for advice. I am sure some will be happy to share their tips, secrets, etc. I really can't do that for my build since so few have done the UNSC Marine from Halo 3. Also, make your cuts as accurate as possible or else the pieces may warp as they progress because of a few cuts that may be too deep or shallow. You will see what I mean eventually. If you do cut into a piece, do not fret. Regular scotch tape will do. That is all I cna think of for now since I have not advanced to the fiberglassing or the resining part yet.
Good luck on your build none the less.

Just be patient. Pepakura is complicated at first. Once you figure out the trick to scaling, the rest is just folding! No sweat man.

and please watch out for double posting... i dont wanna see no one getting banned.

The helmet scale should be some where around 27.5 cm = 275 mm high to 28.5 cm = 285 mm unless you have big head.
