Meh, Global Warming does exist, the Earth does get warmer over this time of the year p), but to what Al Gore preaches about, he's just trying to look good so he can become president and ruin the world. That is how I feel about it...

Well with oil barrels being 110+ dollars a piece, it doesnt help with gas prices going up. Biodisel can be made in our own country and is RENEWABLE 100%.

We wont be paying middle eastern big wigs large amounts of cash for oil, our goverment will be paying fast food places to collect their old sludgy oil and renew it into biodisel. UNLESS gas companies like BP and Shell produce their own biodisel from farm straight.

It may not be 25 cents a gallon, but I can guarantee, it inst going to be no 4 dollars a gallon. $1 a gallon would be a decent price, fast food places either toss away the oil or pay people to pick it up and trash it, why not just hand it away for free for our government to renew into biodisel? It is the only method that makes sense right now.

There are fuels like hydrogen which are renewable and just as clean, but the cost of a car to run it? EXPENSIVE! A car that can run biodisel is much cheaper.

I ride a scooter that gets 100mpg, does it help save gas? Yes! Am I still polluting, yes....

Do I care about saving the environment? Not really.

Public transportation themselves require energy from some source to operate, electric buses use electricity burned from power plants. Trains and subways too. They may not be "polluting" where they go, but they still use just as much energy from the power plants which then put out more pollution to fill the needs of public transportation.

The more people who use public transportation, the more trains, subways, and buses will be needed to accommodate people. The more vehicles, the more pollution.

You do know that a single bus carries about 50 people... Well 1 bus uses the same amount of gas as 2 regular cars.
Meaning that it would save up alot of nature.

And WTF? Over there in the US people dont believe in global warming?!
I'm not going to start a debate but i'm listing 2 facts...

1st, it has been proved that global warming exists.
2nd, I can personally see global warming having a huge effect. Before the average temperatures in Finland ranged from -30 to -50 degrees celsius during the winter (During the year 2000). Now the temperatures range from 0 to -20 degrees celsius.

I have also noted that winter is alot shorter... In south finland we usually got snow in august, this year there wasnt even snow during christmas... we only got it in january. (usually the winter ranges from august to may)

We just got snow in january... we still have snow, so we need to see how it stays.


But seriously? you actually dont believe in global warming over there in the US? In europe it's a big thing and the european Union is constantly adding more restrictions to it's states. (countries).


I personally dont really care how global warming effects the world... i dont care if manhattan will be flooded... i dont really care at all.
But i'm sure it exists!

I have a final on this exact subject tommorrow (Graduate level Earth Systems and Climatic controls) and all of this chatter would get you guys a score of 20 if you were lucky because my professor would award you humor points.
