Hello everybody,

When I posted the pictures of my M6H Magnum replica, I told you I was on a second project.
Here is the time to reveal it !

This is the replica of the T-25 Plasma Pistol from HALO 4.

I wanted to do it after the Magnum because it is a weapon that I find really beautiful and I like it very much in the game because it is very useful ! It was long to do, but Imust say that I do it in my free time after work.
The casting will begin soon !
There will be some electronics in : I hope to get a system for sound and there will be LED to illuminate the plasma pistol of course.

I put some pictures :)

Oh my.... that is beautiful. What was your process for making it?

So nice!! I would like buy one of these when it's for sale
Thank you a lot ! I intend to make copies if there is demand. I do not have a lot of means and molding will affect my savings.
But if the number of applicants is large, it will be cheaper :).

Thank you very much !
For the design, I used my 3D printer to make a simple structure (because I'm not very good in the 3D modeling). I did it because I have, in my little apartment, no place to have other tools that a Dremel. If only I could have a scroll saw, it would be so nice... Anyway.
I then used the putty and styrene to draw or add shapes, details and everything else. I also used a little polyurethane resin.

Wow that looks amazing can't wait to see the paint job!
Thank you man !
I can't wait too ;)

And voila, the mold is done ! The casting was successful !!

I'm super happy with this new molding technique with which I save a lot of silicone and with which I get to have better resin cast.

I put pictures but it is the same method I used for the magnum:

Now we have to remove the Master and remove the clay.

That : it is the worst! We must remove all the clay stuck to the shell... It was long !

Holy crap this looks absolutely amazing. All of the detail work was done with a rotary tool and hand-cut styrene?

Looks great! Puts my stuff to shame since I don't have any molding capabilities nor a 3d printer... Still I can't wait to see how it looks when painted.

If you sell one of those, how much would you sell them for? I really like plasma pistols, since I could bring it to school Halloweens and comic con and stuff and I would be "legal" (i think)
