The pulsing is interesting... It almost looks like a heart pumping. It's pretty cool how it squeezes up, and then kind of slithers back down.

Holy Crap thats in Cameron Village!?!

CV is about 3 miles from my house! If I go missing, the flood got meh! Run for the hills!

For the most accurate Flood Infection costume you'd have these strapped all over your body!! :lol Good luck getting them back off!

Life is gross...

"In their natural habitat freshwater bryozoans contribute to nutrient cycling, and they are grazed upon by fish and certain invertebrates. However, they also are a nuisance when they grow inside pipelines and filters, blocking or seriously disrupting the flow of water in irrigation, wastewater, and cooling water systems. Any pipeline that carries untreated water from a lake or river is at risk of becoming fouled with bryozoan colonies."

Sean nailed it.

Sean was close, but Bryozoa and Annelida are way different phyla. As different as bugs and people.

So it's just a giant clump of redworms and not a true colony? Nasty.

Oops. Failed to see the "not" in "not Bryozoa" in that article.

If I needed another excuse (I really didn't) to not do the urban spelunking thing, that sure gave me one.

Next thing we know, there will be a gravemind , and flood hives underneath every city.

I do believe I had recently saw a fish on youtube that looks like an infection form... I'll try to locate it.

Edit: Here it is The flood fish

That reminds of a type of fish food that aquarium stores used to sell, only redder like daphnia.

EDIT: I'll be darned! It's the same type of worm used as fish food in aquaria (according to wikipedia). Maybe not the same variety as the one shown in the OP video but a tubifex worm nonetheless.

LOL! It's a nautilus and it's not a fish. It's a mollusk.

My brother always though we were the forerunners, and the halo storyline is our future... This kinda proves it :)

God when I saw that thing, I kept thinking there was going to some kind of alien that pops out, and would try to lay eggs in your chest.
