The wonders of sculpy?

I'm currently working on a prop project and wonder if anyone has played with sculpey..... Any advice and or recommendations would be helpful. I'm not using it for the whole project. Just some fidley detail bits and maybe some filler. Please help me know what I'm getting into.

sculpey would not be very reliable. it would chip, crack, split etc. trust me, i tried it on a helmet one time and that's exactly what happened. if you're gonna use any type of clay, use apoxie sculpt.

Your best option has been answered by NerdTron. It's the best way to achieve those finer details to a piece. I use milliput to do anything that filler would be too much of a pain.
