Wow... thats some very nice work there timecon!

ok I spent 9 hours finishing this today the next one is tomorrow enjoy I tried to make it as detailed as possible, I'll be happy to answer any questions I can

and i just got my nightmare armor helmet today this is my wife wearing it
stupid fedex broke a few spots but I'll just use my fiberglass and bondo skill to fix it right up

Thanks, yeah fiberglass jelly is like bondo except it looks like green jelly instead of grey you mix it the same and I paint it on, which is easier than the liquid for me, I paint a square then put the cloth piece over it and right away paint another layer of the jelly then move to the next section.

sorry for all the questions but. did you add the details beofre or after you bonded and what did you make them out of? like just bondo or extra cardstock.

no problem I like to share info, well i built the pep fiberjellyed the inside and everything you see is bondo carefully sculpted

I used block sanders, a hand sander, a dremal, and utility knife

I seriously need a electric mouse sander for those big smooth areas on armor. My hand gets tired of sanding the same spot over and over when I could just have a machine do it 10x faster and more efficient.

Does your hand sander's paper wear faster than sand paper you'd use with your hands? Or does it last longer? Alot of times I pitch sand paper because dust gets caught and wont come off the sand, and it ends up not sanding anymore, even tapping and hitting it doesnt remove the dust.

well I noticed if you dont let the bondo harden long enough it will stick to the paper so I usually wait an hour and work on another piece while that hardens I also put duck tape on the back of the sand paper before putting it on the sander it seems to work better and hold to the sander holders and last longer
