Made some progress on the Tahu helmet with some help from BrokenHawk. I tried out Seymour filler primer. It dries really fast and seemed to fill nicely.

Then Hawk taught me this method of mixing Bondo spot putty with acetone, so thin layers of Bondo could be brushed onto the parts. We recorded videos, but for some reason they won't upload on here. But here are the results.

FYI, that's not the filler primer. That's just primer. Their Filler Primer has pink writing and says Filler on it.

To be fair, the Primer that you are using also has some light filling properties. It's just not quite as thick as their Filler.
