I know who to model stuff in 3ds max but is there a tutorial for making it into a pepakura file and unfoleding it. Ill put pictures of what i mean cause i dont think i making much sense
 
Join dis join faces after you properly scale the helmet, the pieces will be larger and can be moved to different pages.

Also use the "use material for faces" it turns the model white so you dont waste black ink.
 
Ok but that P90 you did i had a 3ds file it looked all messed up ill give another pic and also when i load a .kmz file it merges the edges and there no button to say no.

You need to edit the 3d file less accurate.

Yes, that tommy gun is way too high res. You need to simplify the model or you'll be stuck spending a ton of time on it and end up with wierd folds and openings.
