I do love the bullet hole in the pinky toe. I still think the toe is Andersmith. Such a great suit! I was very happy to have seen it in person; it was the first we noticed at RTX this year. ^_^

looks great! I am in love with the color

It is Krylon Regal Blue" gloss, with a heavy dose of weathering on top of it, which takes off most of the Gloss shine.
I think I still see it occasionally at Hobby Lobby.

Cadet, would you like to talk to yourself some more? Sure, would! Being ignored on the 405th is one of my favorite hobbies!

I got one of the Impact props Halo 4 Mark V helmets and tried it out at RTX. I like it, but I think I'll probably go back to wearing a helmet I made myself after Dragon Con.

Okay so I keep reading how you go on about how much lighter the armour is and how much easier it is to wear it and I'm now interested in doing a vaccuform of my marine suit which was very uncomfortable and heavy. Where are you buying the plastic you are making your pulls from, and do you think a standard fiberglass pep piece could be used to make a pull from? (This may just be a reason to make a vaccuforming table :p)

My plastic was purchased from Queen City Plastic, a local plastic supplier from where I used to live in Cincinnati. You should be able to find a local plastic supplier/distributor in your area.

I mentioned in this thread that several of these pieces were pulled directly over the old fiberglass pepakura pieces. Where I to do it again, I would take greater to really properly prepare the pieces for vacuum forming by sealing off the ends of the pieces to prevent the undercut that made it hard to remove the pieces from the mold.
