Wow, just... Wow.

wallece5.jpg

It saw it today and... it's beyond words. A contender for best picture of the year. Number nine on IMDB after only a weekend. A blinding 96% on rotton tomatoes. This movie will please your eye and warm your f***ing soul.

I tell you, that Wall-e movie is so great it has me thinking about more the longer I think of it. It seems to approach 2001 level's of philosophical meaning and deep and rich characters AND IT FEATURES ADORABLE ROBOTS WHO DON'T HAVE ANY DIALOGUE. It just doesn't get any better. The sound engineer is actually created for this main character because they didn't use any actual voice acting, it's all sound mixing, synths and electronic sounds mixed together. it works fantastically.

This really isn't a movie that's made just for kids, it just a fantastic movie and transcends age, class, and organic divides. R2D2 doesn't shine a f***ing light on wall-e.

You can see the various trailers and short bits here. (watch it in HD if you can)

I'm with you Moz. It really blew me away (saw it on opening night). It still has all the good journey and ending stuff you would expect from a Pixar movie but man did I never expect the background to be so postapocalyptic. I don't think I've ever seen a trash compactor so awesome. Makes me want to build a cute little garbage can. :D

im afraid if i good and see i might want to build him even more, plus my girl doesnt want to see it (she doesnt want to cry)

I have to admit it was F&%$ing great. And I'm not one for kids movies at all!

I simply had NO expectations, I just thought it was going to be another Finding Nemo. I was totally blow away at how this movie perfectly blended adorable and serious content. I was actually happy to go see it! And that hasn't happened since the Bourne Ultimatum!

I think not only was the movie adorable and funny, but it had a great aspect of the future. We are all a bunch of lazy fat asses sucking everything through a straw while robots do everything for us. And while a group of Wall-e class robots attempt to terra-form Earth, they die out to near extinction leaving one little guy left, while we are happily floating out in space in a giant cruise liner without a care in the world. Perfect prediction lol. My father wants to see it so I just might go and see it again :D

w00t Pixar!

i want to see this movie, my sister does... my g/f doesnt...so im tying her to the seat >:D lol i think i might check it this weekend

I really want to go see it even if I don't like going to theaters.. (It sucks going alone)

The level of realism in the rendering used in this film, has to be by far, the most Awesomesauce filled Epicake ever.

Blows everything before it, right out of the 'dynamic-particle-formed' water!

I asked my PC if she would like to try and render an image that looks that good (Moz's second pic), and she laughed at me..

Oh. My. God.

I want one so bad!!

Why wasnt i told about this film!?

It must be seen...

One question, Is it a sad or happy ending?

Go on... Spoil it for me. its nto out here, i must know what happens at the end!

Wow, all I can say is, wow. Great movie. Definitely one of pixar's best if not the best already.

And speaking of WALL-E....... check this out.

I completely agree, except for the R2-D2 part(he's a part of my soul), and the movie was fantastic no matter what any tough-guy jock says.

GO SEE WALL-E!

DO IT!

It's really good, I loved the movie, and the art nerd part of me got a kick from the end credits.

There's actually a site (Link) dedicated to building replica WALL•E's :)

Built something just for the fun of it:

I agree completely! I saw it on the second day. It was one of the best movies I've ever seen. And who couldn't like the short,
