The 2nd entry in the hit series "What's your _____" is What's Your Undersuit?
Plenty of people are asking so throw a picture of your costume, what you used and link (please be sure to embed it in text so it does not fill the page) I'll make a sample to show it off!

Costume: Reach Spartan
clothing used: Lycra dive suit
Custom made? Nope, just a foam "ab wrap" to add details

Costume: ODST "Vaz"
clothing used: Black multicam BDU
Custom made? Negative, no modifications made, plenty of velcro and hooks for attaching armor pieces. Also use an undersuit harness (Separate thread for that) used to hold armor.

Costume: Halo 4 Multiplayer Spartan
Materials: Black Morphsuit with Grip Liner (White), Yoga Mats (Grey), and Eva Foam (Black) glued/sewn on.
Custom Made : Yes, however quite prone to wear and tear. Velcro and Clips were used to attach armour pieces to the undersuit. Had a zip along the spine to put it on, however it became easier to just slide into it like a t-shirt.

Costume: Halo 5 Agent Locke
Materials: Curtain Fabrics with 2mm Craft Foam for Padding. Zipped together to make 1 full body undersuit.
Custom Made: Yes, made from blurry reference pictures before the game released. Started by sketching up an undersuit concept design, which was then used as my main guide. Goal was to make a full undersuit however the way it was make heavily restricted movement.

Undersuit: just under armor body suit.
Status: boot left boot is all that remains.

I’m actually upgrading things slowly as I go too. I don’t have a full up to date pic of the stuff I’ve done to the new shoulders. But this is it.

I’m also thinking about changing the upper undersuit to a motor cross armor. This one? Do you think it’ll work?

My first (and last) undersuit was standard black zentai suit handpainted with some foam details on.
I found it gives this natural look of that hex pattern while giving me all the mobility and and still very breatheable instead of covering it whole with foam.
Will be doing it similar this time too.
Oh. Only detail is - normally fullbody zentai suits have the zipper on the back - I just switched it and I had the zipper on the front so I can have the spine details on there. It wasn't an issue as it was barely visible as it was mostly covered by armor anyway. It was also much easier to get in and out of it.

Looks amazing. How did you paint it? Did you have to put it on a mannequin to stretch it to the right size?

I had a stencil and I was using foam to dab the paint on the fabric. I was painting it on flat surface. When worn it wasn't noticeable because the fabric was soaking up the paint.

I do enjoy using a spiderman zentai suit (miles and ffh) as undersuits for my Spartan suits. I will go and do an all black one though

I just got some black airsoft BDU's off of Amazon for my ODST. The pants were massive for some reason so I actually just used some black Dickie's work pants from Walmart that work great!

Pants have always been an issue, found a good pair on amazon that work and have hidden pockets

black spandex body suit and then printed parts converted to soft expandable foam smooth on flex foam dont have a all suit up pics yet but i do have the abs and back. i will add the suit up in my thread soon.. waiting on family to come back from vac.

So I got this in. It's really nice that it hook onto my chin and stays up without having to cover my whole face. No gaps in the neck! May still make a collar for looks. Jorge is underway!
