Xbox360 Live ptoblems

When I attempt to log onto Xbox Live, it says that there is a connection problem, and when I test connection it says I'm wired but it says that the IP Address test failed. Why is this? I tried everything from Restarting my modem to restarting my xbox. What do I do to fix this?

its your internet call them if its cable or dsl or mybe could be the wires that u used to connect to the 360 if that doesnt work then i dont know man hope this helps

i heard that alot of parts of xbox live that support halo 3 started failing around the world, so many people at once, they couldnt handle all of the players, they imediately ordered an upgrade, so if its not your internet provider then its either the stuff you use to connect like level221 says or its just xbox live having probs again
