I don't know much about HALO, but my son loves it so it wasn't surprising to know that he wants me to build him a HALO costume for Purim (Jewish equivalent of Halloween). I have about 5 months to get one done and if I have time.....one for my self, who knows. I have been making costumes for a long time but never on the scale of which I am now facing. Anything I had ever done, was all scratch and on the fly builds. Last year I build myself a full Spartan costume. Ancient Spartan not a HALO. The year before was a "Zoltar Speaks'" fortune telling box. This year I decided to be a Samurai and I came across templates for HALO costumes. Within 10 minutes I had some Helmet templates printed out and I was cutting paper up like a storm. I have no doubt I can build it, but the time is the factor. Having some issues w/ pod files. Wish I could fine pdf, would make my life much easier.

Why did I join? Well I recently picked up my next prized Halo collectible in the form of a replica 1:1 Needler Gun - 1 of 3000 in the world. And decided to start off small by making a UNSC uniform (starting soon), then moving onto a Spartan outfit, to eventually an Elite. All because I got a gun and want some outfits to wear with it hahaha! Look forward to becoming apart of this community - stuff probably years in the making.
