Hi, I am new to full size armor making. I used to customize action figures like Gijoe and Star wars. Over the years, I have aquire alot of knowlege about how to make mold and how to cast.



Recently, I have decided to go full scale with a Grendizer (Goldorak) helmet. I made the helmet of Duke Fleed. He look awsome! I dont have yet the sculpting talent to make Halo armor yet since they required alot of details but I want to participate in making simpler armor for now.

Hello all, I've been looking at videos on youtube, deciding whether or not this suit making is for me, and in the end I decided I wanted to give it a go. I'm a complete newblet, as I have no prowess in any of the stages of making a helmet let alone a full set of armor. I'm willing to follow everyprocedure down to the letter. I want to be able to design my own helmets and armor at one point. Ever seen the Rocketeer? I'd want to make that helmet as my first. Watched it as a kid and I still think it's cool. Don't know why people don't like the movie so much.

Reason for joining: Originally I joined in hopes of making a trade for some ODST armor, but after looking around I think I'm going to try building my own. I love sewing and last year was my first year doing cosplay at A-Kon. I was Ashlotte from Soul Calibur 4. I've never made armor before and I had a hard time with Ashlotte's... Maybe with enough help and practice I can get my ODST armor done for next A-kon.
