OMFG DUDE! you are my hero when it comes to 2 things, halo 4 things, and foam armor pieces, this is a master piece! Have you ever seen kill kill kill's halo 4 build? It's amazing and it's also made from foam too! you and him should meet sometime. And I love the under suit idea from the dremel, you really know how to improvise! *BIG UPDATE*

hey guys sorry for the 3 day wait had to knock out some commissions and slowly work on the suit... but alot has been done.

I think I left off at thighs...

ok so after that I started painting it took alot of time more than I expected...

then I added the detailed pieces

including the silver

and ill upload the current pics asap trying to finish most of it in one day usually takes all day -__- lol seya

Wow, it just keeps getting better and better. Amazing how much pop that simple coat of paint and minor details gives it. Are you going to do some weathering/battle damage? Or are you going to leave it looking factory fresh?

*Update*

Thanks for all the complements ive been at AFO this weekend and I finally found time to update!

ok so hear is the shin build:

cut detail

hear is the inner shin detail.

ok so I skipped a lot of the bulild prosess to get to painting as quick as I could but hear is the diference between the base paint and the weathered paint.

ok and hears all of the armor together weathered

I gave a seek peek at AFO of the armor this weekend the compleat version will be at dragon con 2012

This is turning out to be an amazing build man! I love updates on this thread cause I know it's always gunna be great. Weathering certainly takes it away from the brand new toy look

I seen this suit in person and He has details carved into the suit that you can't see in the pics, the details are amazing when you see it in person, I have actual pics of him wearing the suit but I don't know if FSacer wants me to debute the almost finished suit so I will leave it up to him

talk about motivation man, the amount of detail that you have put into the build is just insane. on another note, are you planning on building the Spartan IV helmet to go along with the armor, or are you sticking with the Master Chief lid? or might that be a future project?
