So a little over a week ago I started my halo reach Spartan build. It's just the Mark V armor with MarkB helmet. I was wondering the best, and easiest way to do a visor for beginners?

Just watched it five minvutes before checking my thread it did help a lot. I think my problem is a combination of not enough taken out of the "V" shape and not enough heat treatment. I'm going to apply this when I get a chance to and hopefully can correct my past mistakes on it to make it a bit...

What I meant by sharpening edges is where the foam bends to make say the chin section of the helmet. It's curved and rouned compared to an angle.

Okay so I'm dumb sorry but yes I have a letter printer and tried printing out just a few temates and wasn't sure if they were supposed to be that small

My printer is like your standard 8 1/2 by 11 but I do have a bigger printer available

Me EVA foam arrives today so I'll be starting to make my mark V armor. My question is, what size paper should I use for the templates?

I am making my first set of halo armor out of EVA foam and found templates for everything but a helmet. I have been trying to find one for a Mark V(B) helmet and can't. I was told there is a way to change the pep file by removing flaps and altering the layers but have no idea on how to do so. If...

That will take a while of trial and error cause I have never used the pep thing before. Most of my cosplay I just hand drew a template and used a CNC machine to carve out the layers for weapons. I never did armor like this before.
