3D printed mkVI build (Citruspers)

Thanks! I'm not sure if I'll be carrying a second set of tubes though, this thing is going to be massive!
1.4 meters in length

Progress update. Model's mostly finished, I "just" need to figure out the drive gear and electronics.

Meanwhile parts are printing. Not looking forward to sanding though!

Looks absolutely badass!

The thing with huge props is: you usually only bring them along if you have a booth or somewhere to safely leave them. But man, having spare rockets in a classic Halo-style ammo crate would be so cool!

You could even set up fun scenes – like one Spartan firing while a Marine hands over the next rocket load. Pure cinematic vibes.

Definitely an awesome addition, though I’d say: finish the main prop first, and then put this on the upgrade list.

I like to think the spent tubes are collected after a battle, to be revised/refilled in the factory. Which gives me an excellent excuse to do some more weathering on the tubes, including heat discoloration :)

Rocket launcher update: I got it done in time for Galactisches Wochenende (DE)!

This was my first build completely from scratch (designing everything myself) and I'm so happy how it turned out. I had to drop the motorized features, but it does open and can be reloaded.

The scale is pretty much spot on with the video games and it weighs in at just under 5kg. Oops.

I *can* reload it on my own (video of that coming soon), though not as fast as in the video game. But like most things, it's better with friends :)

Videos hopefully coming soon :)
