Hello 405th! MacKnight here.
I was here some time ago and made a poll on what color I would paint this armor in.
The majority here and in RL choose ''Thousand Sons'' Pre-Heresy colors.

Now to the progress of the armor. (Will post pictures laster today).
I have finnished the paper modell on both the Chestplate and the Shoulders.
AND I made the aluminium version of the chestplate ready. See picture in my next post later today. I have only small work left on it, such as finnish a few weldings here and there and then polish it. (Not aluminuium fibers kind that you put over food, but 2mm Aluminium Plates!)

I've started making the scematics for the Shoulders, will probly begin today in cuting them out.

See you later today when I get the pictures everyone! :D

The Pictures, as promised :)

Holy Moly! I really hope the head of that hammer isn't solid metal :p

That's incredible work my friend. What parts are metal and what parts are pep?

No, its not solid, would be impossible to lift it if it was :p
As for your second question, its both to say. I used the parts from pep and made them into blueprints for a computor controlled plasma cutter.
And then let the cutter cut them out, after that it was just a matter of bending the plates right and weld them together.

The metal work look great. What kind of padding are you going to put under the chest?
Im thinking of using this sort:

Man that looks really good, and to top it off your making actual metal armor, keep up the great work

Shouldergurads

Well, got an update for ya people.
chestplate completed. Shoulderguards almost completed as well.
a side note is that I used 1 mm normal steel on the shouldergurads to save time and because welding the small details on them wouldnt work so well in aluminium as the chestplate was made of. Will add a trim to the shoulderguard that doesnt have one in the picture.
Plan now to make the rest in 1 mm steel as well because it goes alot faster.
Picture! :$

Ok people, hold on to your pants. its done.
Tho im not 100% happy with it, wanted to to more work on the painting, add a aquila on the chest and some other minor adjustments, but school ended before I was able to finnish it :(

Well, heres what I got done with.
(PS: will make a better one in the future, but that will be long off for now).
