Anime Nebraskon Info and Roll Call: October 18th, 2024 - October 20th, 2024 (Omaha, NE / Council Bluffs, IA)

Description: Come check out the largest and longest-running anime convention in the Omaha / Council Bluffs metro area! Do you like anime? If not, how about gaming, comics, or pop culture? If you like one of these – or maybe you just like meeting new people, this event is for you! We pride ourselves in an extensive list of activities for you to pick from, with over 100 activities in our three-day schedule. Highlights include an arcade, a huge vendors and artists area, costumes, an extensive board game room, Q & A with celebs from anime and games, karaoke, dances with live DJs, anime viewing rooms, and more! We hope you have a great time, learn some cool stuff, get some sweet swag, and meet awesome friends. But even more than that, our goal is for you to feel at home here. The staff donates their time for one reason – for you! The convention is community, and no matter how you feel in your day-to-day life, you can be yourself with us. While we've grown from 300 people in 2004 to 7,856 Attendees, 175 Staff members, and 135 vendors in 2022, we still maintain that friendly feel. You are our focus. Welcome home to NebKon, where fans are family. Click register and come join us! We look forward to seeing you!

Date: October 18th, 2024 through October 20th, 2024, (10/18/2024 - 10/20/2024)

Location: Mid-America Center, 1 Arena Way, Council Bluffs, IA 51501 (Google Maps)

Event Website:
Local Hotels: There are two hotels located within close proximity to the Mid-America Center:
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Council Bluffs (Closest to Convention Center)
Hilton Garden Omaha East / Council Bluffs (Across the Street)

As a former Omaha local, this con has always been an enjoyable time the last few years I've gone. With the growth of the Midwest Regiment as a whole, not to mention a few more members in the Omaha / Council Bluffs area, I'm hoping to get this con on everyone's radar for next years convention season! It'd be great to have a decent showing and hopefully, show the Nebraska and Iowa locals what the 405th is best at!
