Hotdamn! You got some mad foaming skills. Looking really good so far!

As for armor color, I'm a big fan of white (might have something to do with me being a huge star wars fan), I think it would look great with the yellow detailing!

Also...the last picture you posted looks like a sleeping baby to me (with the words "for web viewing only"). It's a...surprising sight in an armor thread

Thank you for the compliment about my foaming skills... since this actually my first attempt using foam as my medium of choice.
Looks like with everyones added opinions I am going to go back to my original color concept!
and yeah the last picture is one of my daughter who was just born on tuesday figured i could share a little of my joy with everyone on here and let everyone know thats why there hasnt been an update in a while... but I'm back on track now so hopefully i can let the updates roll!

Im breaking out the airbrush for this version of the paint scheme so lets see if I still have any skill in it, I hope i do or it will look like utter crap.

K so I Promised a little update and here it is, Back by popular demand is the white and yellow paint scheme. I actually broke out the airbrush and done a little detailing had a lot of problems with the airbrush seeing as I didn't clean it the last time I used it which was well over a year ago.... OK enough of my babble I'm sure you guys don't read what I write anyways so here are some pictures.

(Note I ran out of paint thats why there wasn't more painted)

I used the same technique as mentioned before to do all my scratching and metal showing through.

THIGH:Ran out of yellow paint for the inside part of the thigh I will pick more up today.

OK, since everyone loved the yellow and white paint scheme from before I repainted all the pieces I have made right now....

so... are you using the bed liner spray to seal the foam? great job by the way.. I'm thinking to build my armor by foam but I have a chest peice that I'm doing card stock on... I'm still debating.

Yes I'm using the bedliner to seal my foam, It works for me it may not work for you.

Well I foamed last night.... I got a lot accomplished left thigh, left bicep, left shoulder.

I have thought about making the pilot helmet from foam.... it would be an adventure... but If i could find a raw cast for cheap id consider that ... plus I have a 1100hr automotive collision repair certification so im really familier with the bondo/fiberglassing process... so its hard to tell.

Well AS PROMISED I Finished the paint on the pieces from the other night and they look pretty fancy!

a little fitting picture and the new code piece, the front of the cod piece where the X is is there I cut the piece to make it smaller and more proportionate...

I added a little bottom too the cod piece just to see what it would look like and hopefully get some feed back from you guys and also got my boots partially done.... I'm not sure if i like them so feed back on those also would be greatly appreciated.

If you notice from this picture and the last pictures the cup piece actually slants backwards now and not straight down which in my opinion looks a little better

the extra piece i added to the back goes from the butt plate to the cup it may make it harder to set down but I think it will look better once the under suit is completed.

Here are also some pictures of the cod piece as of right now to just show what all i have done to them.

Notice the Velcro point that attach to each other.

Well I haven't updated this post in forever, wasn't getting a lot of feedback so I decided to switch forums. But seeing as i still have an active build I would like to keep you guys in the loop of what i have going on with my build. so here is all the pictures to bring you up to speed...

Pilot helmet paint process:
1st Step: getting colors mapped out.

2nd Step: Add the dirty shading effect.

3rd Step: Scratch the hell out of it!

Test Fit: Note that is not my undersuit just some black clothes I had, I have a morph suit for my undersuit.
