About an hour ago, a bird got stuck in my sisters window. I thought to myself, " How does a bird get stuck in a window!" Turns out it flew in between a storm window from the top to look at a dead bird. When it turned around to fly away, the storm window moved toward the main window trapping it. So, I spent a hour trying to get the stupid bird out. we finally got it out with a wire hanger.
I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER BIRD FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, man. Stupid... things... always happening. :cautious:

You make it sound like an ordeal... actually sounds kinda cool to me, like you helped the bird and that's something to be happy about. You did a good thing.... why are you mad about it? You should be proud.

Sorry, just puzzled here. o_O

censor some of the language on that, we have youngin's here.

Anyways, I'd've thought you had a broken window from a woodpecker or something... happened to me last year... at 4 in the morning.

Its like clock-work, a woodpecker comes to the house every Saturday morning. I've already killed two already with a c02 charge bb rifle. To those of you that luv birds, sorry... As I said I have no idea why they come on the weekend, and.... at 7:00 or earlier. :tutu:

Make sure it's not protected. Could get you in a ton of trouble if one of your neighbors turned you in. Otherwise, I gotta say sometimes that's the only viable solution (got 2 neighbors that do that to keep the grackles out of their trees).

I'm not mad at the bird, but I am still wondering why it would not fly away after we moved the window. It had a way out and it knew how to get out, but it refused to move. But I guess I do feel good about helping a small bird escape death.
Oh, and I have had birds and other small animals throw acorns at my head... I don't think animals like me that much.

Animals have a totally different agenda than people. You might be sitting there saying, "damn you bird, just fly out the friggin window", and the bird is thinking "leave me alone kid, so I can fly out the friggin window!"

Animals throw acorns at your head? Have you considered that you might be the antichrist? Check your scalp for a tattoo of three sixes in a row. If you only have one thats three nines, put down the mirror and ask a friend to look.

Seriously though, don't take it so personally. Animals just want people to leave them alone. I just can't understand how something this insignificant can ruin your day. You're going to have to toughen up a bit for the severe challenges in life.

I mean you could have been "cool, I helped this bird out of my window", but you were like " Stoopid bird, I hate them in my window!" Whether you had a good day or not was really up to you.

And besides: Birds; The are f**king everywhere!

You're probably right about me over reacting to the situation, but it didn't help much when my sister was freaking out and yelling,"It's going to die soon. Hurry up. But now that I look back on it, I'm just glad it didn't turn around and crap or throw an acorn on my head lol.
