So It's been a while since I've posted anything not ODST related and figured I'd stake my claim. Next year I'm going to attempt to build some dead space 2 security armor. Me and builds being as slow as I am(like a snails pace) this may take a bit. HOWEVER! I've also been up to some serious building(heh, serious building...fun is serious business.) and I figure I should share? Also moving up a level in the forums. Feels good man. AND NOW ONTO THE THINGS! First up is dutch.

Thanks! : D I do my utmost and unleash my building OCD when it comes to stuff like this. BEST HELMET IS NOT BEST ENOUGH as far as I'm concerned with my own work.

Halp!

So I'm hoping this bumps up. I need some serious advice on gap filling and visor mounting. I was going to follow this originally:
http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/31352-Tutorial-Install-amp-Detail-your-visor

But! I test fit the shields that I just recently purchased and I noticed something rather disappointing/disturbing with how well they fit these lids at current. I know I come running here as soon as things go awry but I had to know if the results that I'm seeing here are standard as this drastic as misfit or have I gone horribly off the beaten path? Any advice for me would be appreciated as my last helmet came together smoother than silk. I have some images below to show off the trouble spots and can take more if anyone needs any.

UP FIRST! The CQB

the perspective on these kind of sucks because theyre close ups. This is along the top of the visor hole:
