What you should do if you want to do that kinda stuff is just do normal things like, go to the mall, shopping, walking the dog, Etc..

I want to make a video podcast with 3 other 405th members and post it on YouTube! plus we need someone to edit it! :eek

but how do i do that?

*you ask*

no, i'm asking you how can i do collabs with other people with a webcam?

[sub]I have the following statements to add.

If you make a video teaser, make sure you have an actual idea before releasing a teaser.

Please stop with the *mods hit me in the face and various emoticons such as >.> T_T etc.

Please don't turn this thread into a place for stalkers to F5.

Did I hear something about mudkips?[/sub]

Dude, just check out the scaling thread in the pep section. IT's in the stickys. What do you have to make the armor for? A class?

Just saw the pics of the armor you wanted to model, and it's not bad, but you have a LOT of work to do. That EVA visor 'll be tough... do you know how to vac-form?

June 18th is when Florida Supercon starts... :eek

and no, I don't know how to vac form, i was thinking of making a mold and melt plexiglass on it to form the visor.

Ok, it's the same principal. Except, you add suction to the bottom to pull the hot plastic over the master mold. See if you can get a large, airtight container. HAve a mesh, r make holes on the top. Get a bagless vacumm cleaner and put it on the side, so the air comes fromt he grid, down. OPut your master on there, heat the plastic, then plunge it over it. The plastic will need to seal around the entire mesh, adn you will get a thin, clear plastic dome.

After the ODST, I going to make the Mark V (With help from Nintendude (he wanted me to change it to Vagabond which sounds AWESOME! :eek) :D ) from Halo: CE A.K.A. Halo 1!!!

Happy Early Thanksgiving!!! :)

No offense, but this constant timeline of ideas is getting very stale. Stick with an idea or you'll easily be sidetracked. Go with a single suit, and if you can finish one to your satisfaction, move on to the second, then the third, then the fourth.

Also, yeah, don't make a podcast or anything until you've cemented a place in the 405th, get permission from Adam, and have your work planned out and some progress done.

Bolded: Last link in my signature titled "How To Scale your Armour-Tutorial". click on it, and read.

I still don't get why some people don't know how to use the search funstion, let alone Google search...

so in order:

H2 ODST: all almost pepped

H1 Spartan: hopefully get the edited pep files from nintendude before friday

Diaryboy may I suggest something you don't ave to make a post every time you make just a tiny change to something with your WIP if you complete a part yes that would constitute for a post, but I am starting to think it's just to keep it up to date too much. Yes I am doing the Mark V scaling for you but not everyone needs to know when a little change is made to a small project.

oh, sorry... ;_;

i'll try not to do it again, but at the same time, i'm too excited about making armor! :D

hey, I was wondering if I can E-Mail my city's news station and show a report how to make pepakura armor (kinda like what Sullcandy Girl did on Indy Mogul)?

is it a good idea?

Edit: I asked Adam...hopefully he replies? :eek

Wow, Sadly even I the most sidetrackable person thinks this thread is getting out of hand. Dairyboy I think you have a great idea but you might get stalked. So don't Get in the car wit the guy that says he has candy. :p

I really didn't want to have to post in this thread and get roped in some how, but this is getting waaaay out of hand. When people like me and the other vets have to repeatedly tell you to stop, you should probably stop before you get your reputation hurt. That's no fun. What if you make absolutely AWESOME armor, but nobody takes you seriously? Just calm down on the post button and the emoticons and the excitement. I know what it feels like to finally get involved in armor, but you'll get used to it soon enough. Welcome to the community though, and if you have any questions ill be glad to help you out.

Dude seriously, just chill out. Let everyone find this place on their own.

Telling a news station about this is just sad in my opinion because you're going entice those good for nothing recasters here.

Let the experts deal with the broadcasting since they have ALOT of experience in the costuming community.

Building a low-def "unfinnished" helmet isn't going to draw in crowds. once you get something done that will be appealing to the eyes, then you can tell your friends, but until then, don't.

Sorry I had to be a bit harsh, but we don't want recasters causing hard working props makers in this community to leave thanks to your over the air message.
